Prior to founding the Architectural and Planning firm Tshering Dorji served in the Bhutan Civil service for 15 years with his final appointment being Chief Urban Planner in Ministry of Infrastructure and Transport. He now leads the firm across urban planning, architecture, and design-build projects.

Consult2T

Consult2T was founded with a clear vision: to bridge the gap between policy and de- sign by leveraging extensive government-sector experience in urban planning and architecture. After serving 15 years in the Bhutan Civil Service, the founder, an accom- plished urban planner and architect, sought to create a platform where this expertise could directly contribute to national development.

On March 27, 2023, Consult2T was officially registered with the Construction Develop- ment Board (CDB) of Bhutan. What began as a two-person operation has since grown into a dynamic team of 11 professionals. The firm has quickly established itself as a trust- ed player in the field, delivering a growing portfolio of architectural projects across the country. Notably, Consult2T is currently leading three Local Area Plans—govern- ment-backed initiatives aimed at structured urban development. As the company continues to expand, its mission remains rooted in delivering impact- ful, context-sensitive design solutions that align with Bhutan’s development goals and value
